Testimonial 2: Barratts Esophagitis
Some 5 years ago I began to suffer from severe heartburn and acid reflux. I went to the doctor who referred me for tests at the hospital. On examination it was found that the lining of my oesophagus had been badly damaged by the acid from my stomach. This is commonly known as Barratts Oesophagitis. I was subsequently given medication to reduce the production of acid in stomach. This did help reduce my symptoms however I was not convinced that it was getting to the actual cause. As a result I decided to look for help in complementary medicine. After trying herbal medicines that did not really help I came across NAET.
On the initial visit we discovered that I was allergic to the majority of the foods I eat. I have had NAET treatments over the last year. Over that time my symptoms steadily diminished (with the occasional dip). The damage to my oesophagus has much improved, I now have no heartburn and, I am now on half the dose of medication.
