1. Physical Problems
NAET is also effective in the treatment of allergic symptoms in our pets.
Vets can prescribe medicines to control symptoms in the same way that doctors can treat our symptoms, but this offers no long-term solution to the cause. It can be distressing for pet owners to see their pets suffering and not to be able to help. NAET offers a permanent solution to problems such as eczema, flea allergies and intestinal problems.
We have treated cats, dogs and horses with great success. The method used is the same as that for elderly or infirm people; we treat using a surrogate – usually the owner.

2. Emotional Problems
It is not uncommon for pets to have emotional problems. These can range from refusing to be left alone to fear of travelling in a car. As with people NAET, can be used to relieve these problems by tackling the causes. It can make pets much more enjoyable and give them a better quality of life.

3. Case Studies
Case Study 1
In one case a competition horse had a mild allergy to midges. This caused him to rub a piece of his mane away every spring and summer making plaiting impossible. He was treated for the midge allergy and has not rubbed his mane since.
Case Study 2
We treated a mare who became very stressed when the trailer was brought into the yard. She would stop eating, become tense and start scouring. This was traced back to the time when she was taken to the hospital for major surgery. Now that the incident has been cleared she remains calm and will continue to eat her food whilst the trailer is brought into the yard and prepared.
Case Study 3
A gelding developed a problem with his sheath following a virus. He refused to let his owner clean it and would not drop his penis down. It became infected, with the horse showing signs of colic and the vet had to attend. The horse was treated for an emotional issue connected with being ill. Before we had left the yard the horse had dropped down. The owner can now clean his sheath properly and there have been no more problems.
